KidX ("KidX", "we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights, in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

Who we are: KidX is operated by KidX PTE LTD, based in Singapore. You can contact us at admin@kidx.asia regarding this policy or your personal data.

What personal data we collect

We collect personal data that you give us directly, including:

• Your name and email address, when you enquire, book a call, or begin a booking conversation;

• Your phone number and WhatsApp contact details, when you contact us or join a trip's WhatsApp group ("The Group Chat");

• Details about your children (such as age, and, where you choose to share it, dietary needs, allergies, or relevant medical information), which you provide so we can arrange a suitable preschool placement and inform the preschool and accommodation;

• Your travel preferences, chosen location, and dates.

We may also collect limited technical data automatically when you visit kidx.asia (such as basic analytics), through our website platform and any analytics tools we use.

How we use your data

We use your personal data to:

• Respond to your enquiries and arrange discovery calls;

• Plan, quote, and coordinate your trip, including sharing necessary details with the relevant Japanese preschool, coordinator, and accommodation;

• Operate The Group Chat support service during your trip;

• Send you information you have requested and, where you have consented, occasional updates about KidX;

• Meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.

We rely on your consent, and on the legitimate operation of the service you have requested, as the basis for these uses.

Sharing your personal data

To deliver your trip, we share relevant personal data with:

• The Japanese preschool your child will attend;

• Our on-the-ground coordinator for your chosen location;

• Accommodation and, where you request it, car-rental providers;

• Service providers who help us run the business (for example, our website, email, and messaging platforms).

We do not sell your personal data. Because KidX operates between Singapore and Japan, some of your data will be transferred to and processed in Japan; we take reasonable steps to ensure it is protected to a standard comparable to the PDPA.

How long we keep your personal data

We keep your personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above, or as required by law, after which we securely delete or anonymise it.

Protecting your personal data

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, use, or disclosure.

Third-party links and services

This website may link to third-party services (such as WhatsApp) and we work with third-party providers (preschools, accommodation, car rental, coordinators). We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party websites, and services provided by third parties are subject to their own terms.

Your rights

Under the PDPA, you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, request correction of it, or withdraw your consent to our use of it. To make a request, contact us at admin@kidx.asia. We will respond within a reasonable time. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide part or all of the KidX service.

Children's data

KidX collects information about children only from their parents or guardians, for the purpose of arranging and delivering the trip. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available at kidx.asia/privacy.
